Why You Should Read Every Wedding Contract

Your wedding details are coming together, and it's time to finalize contracts with many of your vendors.
- Signing contracts and putting down deposits can be stressful, but take each one separately. Start reading the contracts right away, and don't be afraid to ask questions about the fine print.
- Like all of the contracts you sign, it's a good idea to read and thoroughly understand what you are agreeing to, and then have your attorney review the contract before you sign anything.
- Take one last look at the budget and update your budget numbers based on the final estimates.
- Once you have locked in your dates, pencil in a time on your calendar 2-3 months before your wedding to make sure your vendors are still on schedule. Checking in with them periodically will help ensure that a management changes don't affect your wedding plans.
